These Terms apply to access and use of the Ridgestone Research Labs website (“Site”) and purchases offered through it. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or place an order.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You represent that you are at least 21 years old, legally able to enter a binding agreement, and provide accurate information. Keep account credentials secure. We may decline, cancel, or restrict orders where we reasonably suspect fraud, unlawful use, or non-compliance.

2. Research-use only

Products are offered for lawful laboratory research use only, unless the relevant listing expressly states otherwise. They are not offered for human or veterinary consumption, administration, diagnosis, clinical or therapeutic use, or incorporation into food, cosmetics, drugs, medical devices, or other products for human or animal use. Nothing on the Site is medical advice or a claim of regulatory approval. Buyers are responsible for confirming lawful acquisition and use.

3. Safe handling and buyer responsibilities

Only appropriately trained and equipped personnel should handle research materials in suitable facilities. Buyers are responsible for independent hazard review, applicable safety documentation, storage, handling, disposal, personal protective equipment, and compliance with applicable laws and institutional rules. No license or patent rights are granted by a product listing.

4. Product details, pricing, and availability

Product descriptions, sizes, prices, and availability may change. We aim for accuracy, but errors may occur; we may correct errors or cancel affected orders and notify the customer. Product form, specifications, storage requirements, and lot information should be confirmed against the actual product label and applicable lot documentation. A Certificate of Analysis (COA), when available, is provided after purchase and relates only to the identified lot; availability and contents must not be inferred for other lots.

5. Payments and taxes

Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not intend to store full payment card numbers or CVV. Prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, duties, and fees will be shown or handled as required by law and the checkout process.

6. Shipping and risk

Shipping options, charges, and available delivery estimates are shown during checkout where supported. Estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by carriers, weather, holidays, customs, or incorrect addresses. Customers are responsible for providing an accurate address and for complying with import, export, and local requirements. We do not promise shipping destinations or timelines that are not offered at checkout.

7. Inspection and order issues

Please inspect an order promptly and email us about damage, shortages, or incorrect items as soon as possible, including the order number, description, and photographs where useful. Any stated reporting period is subject to applicable law and does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.

8. Returns and refunds

Refund and return requests are handled under the Refund Policy. Contact us promptly if an item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Disclaimer and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, the Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” subject to any express product warranty and non-waivable legal rights. To the extent permitted by law, Ridgestone is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims arising from your unlawful handling, storage, use, transfer, or resale of products, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Resale and export

Do not resell, relabel, export, re-export, or transfer products in violation of applicable law, sanctions, export controls, product restrictions, or these Terms. Buyers are responsible for determining legal requirements applicable to their circumstances.

12. Site content

Site content is owned by or licensed to Ridgestone and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Do not copy or commercially reuse content without permission or legal authorization.

13. Governing law and disputes

Applicable governing law and venue must be confirmed for the operating business and should not be assumed from a template. Mandatory consumer protections and venue rights remain unaffected.

14. Changes and contact
